Faculty and staff who install the home use software must uninstall the software from their personally-owned computer when they leave employment at the UT System, or if the software is no longer made available for their use at work.Office can be installed on one desktop computer and one laptop computer for your exclusive use.Employees are entitled to install Windows on one computer.Office or Windows on DVD is available for $13.95 per title.For an additional $4.95, the download period can be extended to two years (This is helpful in case you have to replace a hard drive on your computer or you get a new computer). Software must be downloaded during the 31 day period that begins at the date of purchase.Faculty and Staff can download a copy of the latest version of Microsoft Windows or Office at $9.75 per titles.For more information on eligibility requirements please read the Microsoft Campus Agreement. If students leave the University without graduating, they must remove all products obtained under the Microsoft Campus Agreement. When students graduate, they become permanently licensed for products covered at the time of graduation.
